The Mid-Hudson Astronomical Association is a non-profit group of amateur astronomy enthusiasts sponsored by SUNY New Paltz. Our purpose is to spread knowledge and interest in astronomy to students and the general public.  We primarily achieve this through free public services:

* Hands on nighttime events (Star Parties)

* Topical presentations and guest speakers

* Collaborative events with other organizations

* Special programs for unique cosmic events

* Direct forum and social media conversations

* Monthly newsletters

Would your group enjoy learning about astronomy?

We try to accommodate all requests for our participation and can customize content to your audience's experience and topics of interest. We do not charge for our services, though donations are always appreciated as they enable us to do as much as we do.
